Brandon Calton is an attorney at The Royal Law Firm with experience advising clients through the litigation process. Brandon provides assistance when employers are faced with difficult scenarios, such as defending themselves against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, or allegations of violations of the FMLA. Through the litigation process, he prepares pleadings and motions, attends court hearings, depositions, and prepares for motion hearings and trials.
Brandon’s experience derives from representing clients at the District Court level during his employment as a Public Defender with the Committee for Public Counsel Services. During his time with the Committee for Public Counsel Services, he represented clients through misdemeanor and felony cases. His work at the Committee for Public Counsel Services provided ample experience in conducting research, drafting court filings, motion practice, and trial practice.
Brandon received his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law; where he graduated with honors, and was an officer of The Alliance, the law school’s LGBTQ+ student organization. He received his B.A. from St. Lawrence University.
